Pendleton Show

We had a great show and now it is time to get busy replacing what I sold. The rain settled to a drizzle while we set the tent up thrusday and once we got the sides on the tent we were dry as could be. Friday started out pouring but turned out to be a pretty nice day and sat. was beautiful. Met a lot of new people and caught up with some old ones. Here are a few pictures of the booth.
Hope to see everyone in Fisher's at the high school Oct. 8th from 9-3.

Took a break and decided to start working on my front porch. Now I need some pumpkins.

Mr Pumpkin needed a friend

Well after I bought the town out of glass and had hubby drilling jars and such for over an hour I thought I better put them to use. Mr. Pumpkin was lonely so I made him a friend. These are bigger than the other one. I now have them in four different sizes.

Time to get busy

Well vacation is over and my daughter and I had a wonderful time in Disney. We should leave dad and the brothers home all the time. We have one more week of baseball and football is well underway. But it is time to get down to business and get some things made for fall. Here is a sample of my new creation.

My new Blog YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well thanks to my Aunt for starting this. Now everyone is going to have to bare with me while I figure everything out. Most of my Spring house projects are almost complete so it is time to get busy with my crafting. Actually, I have been busy just took a small break. So make sure you check back often to see whats new. If you see something you like let me know I will be more than happy to sell something so you don't have to wait for a show.

I hope to have a list of shows soon so you know where to find us this fall. We know for sure we will be in Pendleton, IN September 9th and 10th, 2011 so make sure you stop by and say HI!

These are my newest members of my crafting inventory.

2010 Craft Festival in Pendleton, IN

Well this year I was able to buy a double tent of my own.
 I was so excited.
Even my husband Brad came and helped Aunt Debby and I set it up.
It made the show so much nicer.
We also used the small tent we had set up in back for a place to sit and eat.
It was very nice. The show was great. It did rain but we had room for people to stand inside
out of the rain. Most of the time the weather was beautiful.
I will look for you there next year.
I'm working on lot's of new stuff.

The crowd was good.
There were times people were lined up to make their purchases.
How wonderful!

The day we were there setting up a reporter from the Anderson Herald came by to talk to us.
He stopped to talk to Aunt Debby.
Here I am working my butt off this year because I made
everything and she got her picture in the paper.
Not fair!

Just came from an auction

Aunt Debby and I just came from an auction in Winchester, IN.
I was able to buy this whole SUV full of material for $20
and then when I was going through the sacks
and washing all of this material I found a $20 bill.
I guess I got all of this free.
The funniest thing is that we stopped on the way home at the glass outlet.
We knew we couldn't buy much because there was just
barely enough room for us but wouldn't you know it we
bought a whole cart full. What a day.
When we get out together we sure have fun.

We are always looking for a bargain.

2009 Ball State University Craft Show

Well here I am checking things out.

Much smaller booth space so we have to be picky.
It is also a shorter show. 8 - 2pm
on Saturday.
This has always been a good show for us.
 Not nearly as hard.

2009 Craft Festival in Pendleton, IN

This year we tried something different.
Something LARGER!
We now have more than 2 spaces.
Especially when we extend out from all sides.
We loved it.

We borrowed the tent from Sandy.
She was going to set up with us but went out of town
the last minute to a family reunion.
Her daughter Julie helped us set up the tent.
Thank God. We had trouble.

This was one mistake we made the first day but corrected it the second.
We put a tent up to set under at the end of the large community tent.
Too much heat.
